Fascinating bilingual musical theater camp for boys, girls and teens! In our fourth consecutive year, Miami will have a summer camp that immerses youngsters in the world of Broadway musicals and the Spanish language. In this applauded initiative from the awarded Sociedad Actoral Hispanoamericana, children will discover the wonderful world of theater through music, dance and acting and will develop their artistic abilities in a summer filled with fun and creativity
At the end of the Broadway Summer Camp our Kids and Teens will present a Show! For the First session and for the first time in Miami; TARZA and for the second session; FAME
For this camp we have prepared ourselves bringing professionals of our industry. These are: Lazaro Horta, Cinthya Garcia, choreographer and singer Christian Santiago, Coreographer Manny Castro Jr. Coreographer Sandra paola Castilo, Acting Teacher Vannessa Elise, Andres Mejia and specialist in all three disciplines, Miguel Sahid (who has in charge the artistic direction of the spectacle at the close of the season).” -Explains to us Andres Mejia, who has in charge the responsibility of yoga for kids as a relaxation and concentration technique.
We remark that the place where the summer camp takes place is a secure, complete and creative venue placed inside the facilities of the prestigious dance academy “Dancetown” in the city of Doral. This process also seeks to develop among the participants, the construction a broader view of the world, an analytical mind and and sensibility as they are prepared as integral actors.
The Broadway Summer Camp for kids and teens will have two seasons. The first from June 12th to July 7, 2017 and the second season from July 10 to August 4th , 2017. Both will have a Broadway style show to close each season that will be presented at Teatro the Bellas Artes.

Some of the activities that children and teens will take part of are: singing, corporal expression, voice, rhythm, diction, improvisation, and scenic presence among other skills. This academic program was developed by the experienced actor and director; Miguel Sahid.
This camp is a space for the gradual exploration and discovery of the theatrical arts, conceived as an integral discipline that combines rhythm, movement, control of the body, expression, words and stories all combining to construct and master the scenic language.
” A series of exercises designed as games, are the educational alternative to bring out the natural ability and expressive techniques as well as the development of critical thinking early on.” -Comments Miguel Sahid, who bets 100 percent on this program since it’s been implemented successfully for adults and children in cities such as: Chicago, Orlando, Miami and coming soon to the cities of Houston and Austin.
